Intermediate Nature and Landscape Photography: Sunrise HDR at Lincoln Memorial

During this session, I will teach you intermediate and advanced techniques at the Lincoln Memorial.

Topics will concentrate on high dynamic range and exposure blending, including:
1) Why do HDR?
2) When would you use HDR?
3) How to capture "bracketed" shots in the field
4) Discussion of post-processing techniques

Other topics that may be discussed at a high level are artistic composition, panorama, and focus blends.

What you will need to bring:

1) A digital SLR camera and lenses (you'll want at least a 70mm zoom to capture enough details in the moon)
2) A tripod
3) Flashlight
4) Water

Why sunrise/sunset? I talked about it a few months ago here: http://www.meetup.com/Washington-DC-Metro-Landscape-Fine-Art-Photography/messages/boards/thread/27984172

I will keep the amount of participants limited such to provide ample opportunity for all to learn.

I require pre-payment to limit no-shows. Your payment will be refunded if you indicate you will not come 48 hours before the start of the session.

Thanks and hope to see you there!
