As Ned Stark once said, winter is coming. And what better way to give the finger to winter then to enjoy one final hike before the weather turns bitterly cold?
So, come join me on the Maryland side of Great Falls National Park and hike the Billy Goat Trial "A". Enjoy the fall foliage, rocks, river, and natural beauty! The current forecast is Sunny and 52 degrees. Great hiking weather!
The hike will take about two hours (depending on the number of people and pace). Please wear comfortable hiking shoes. There is some limited rock scrambling.
We will meet at the concession stand right next to the parking lot. The hike will begin at 1:10 p.m, so if you're running late, please let me know.
