September book: Learning Responsive Web Design with Clarissa Peterson

  • September 3, 2014 · 6:30 PM

For September, we're happy to have Clarissa Peterson join us to talk about her new book, Learning Responsive Web Design.

In this hands-on guide, Clarissa explains how responsive web design works, and takes you through a responsive workflow from project kickoff to site launch, including content strategy, layout for multiple screens, responsive front-end development techniques, and performance optimization.

Clarissa is a UX designer and web developer, and co-founder of Peterson/Kandy, a Montreal-based digital consultancy specializing in creating responsive websites. Clarissa also lived in DC for over a decade and was an active member in our UX community: including the UX book club.

O'Reilly is offering us an incredibly generous 50% discount on the ebook and 40% off the paperback. Go to http://www.learningrwd.com, click on the O'Reilly link, then use the discount code BWORM at checkout.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
