I actually spoke and connected with people I definitely will keep in contact in the future. I was taken out of my box.

Excellent? I'll be honest, I only had one other Meet Up to compare it to. That one had about 300 people in it and as such held a completely different dynamic. This felt much more like what I would imagine something labelled a "meet up" should feel like.

Not going to be able to make it--takes more than an hour to get into DC from southwest Fairfax, too much on my plate to finish before long holiday weekend. Enjoy!

I do some UX as part of my job, but would love to have a meet up where FT UX designers share what their day-to-day work is like "behind the scenes".

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
