I had a blast! It was great to be able to meet Googlers and bounce ideas off of them and find out more about their products. Wish I won a t-shirt though, haha...

The presentation was very basic. It would've been nice to have an outline beforehand so that we can decide whether to attend or not. It was nice to meet other professionals and to learn about what they do. The meetup would've been a success if it covered new features of search or wave.

Q&A was very good to hear. Noise/mic problems was an issue, but to be expected.

The presentation was helpful and enjoyable. The Google staff present were knowledgeable, approachable, and related well to the group. The presentation began at 7 after one hour of social time. If I were to recommend anything, it would be to have the presentation a bit sooner. Given the yuppie crowd present, people were starting to drift a bit by 15 or 20 minutes into the presentation time. And it might be that people would have more to say to each other about google after they had heard each of the staff speak a bit.

I was refused entry to the restaurant because I was wearing jeans. May I suggest that if you're using the same location next time that you put this in the notes so that others don't waste a trip into DC

this was my first meetup since I'm from Germany. It was a really great experience and I'm looking forward to further meetups

The only way Google is going to educate our incredibly ignorant journalists and legislators is to tell the story (in small words) so they know what is happening to their world. Good effort, great people, doing the hard work to change the world. Google bought the first drink, too!

Very nice meetup, it was very basic information but with some interesting tips.

I won a t-shirt! Oh, an I learned a bit about google's plans for the future too. I was encouraged to hear about the global plans for google and also about the use of DTV bandwidth (I'm not a techie, so I just use whatever term seems like it might almost be right, or at least gets the idea across) to reach people across the U.S. I missed the beginning of the presentation because I was held up at work, so I'd love to see it online or be able to read some of the question-and-answer stuff online somewhere. Thanks for organizing this!

I thoroughly enjoyed Google's first DC Meetup. Nundu gave a great promotional presentation. Nate T. was very welcoming - made for a very sociable atmosphere. It was great to meet and speak with many of the Google employees (from the area, as well as from Mountain View) as well as be introduced to some fresh faces of people working in similar fields to mine in the DC Metro area. This was a true success, and I'm looking forward to the next meetup!
