We are a group of passionate movie fans, who like to watch foreign movies and independent films on a weekly basis.

We normally meet before or after the movie over a coffee or a meal to socialize and talk about movies.

To help new members find the group, we always:

1) meet at the same time (25 min before movie starts; 5 minutes later, we head towards the cinema room to get our seats);

2) meet at the same location (for E street cinema, it is the top of the escalator leading to the viewing rooms; for Bethesda Row, we meet at the nearby Cosi, 7251 Woodmont avenue at 6:00 pm for a coffee and then head to the theater at 6:35 pm);

3) we sit at the same place (third or fourth center row from the back).

At Landmark theatres, if you buy tickets from the automated vending machines, do not forget that the machine will print two receipts: first the credit card receipt, then the movie ticket. On weekends, it is strongly recommended that you buy your ticket online in advance. Too often have tickets been sold out and members not been able to watch the movie. Bethesda Row in particular has many small rooms that fill up quickly on Saturdays.

For movies at the Bethesda Row theather, there are several parking lots that are free on Saturdays and Sundays: http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/dpktmpl.asp?url=/conten...

Note that parcometers on the street are paying until 10:00 pm, even on weekends.

If you cannot make it to the movie, you are always welcome to join to the restaurant after the movie. After movies taking place at the E-Street cinema, we normally go to the nearby Asian Nine restaurant (915 E Street NW).

The event will alway take place independent of the weather conditions; no snow storm will ever prevent your organizer from coming to the theater.
