I think Washington Metro Accesibility Ministry is not another church program, but engrafting those who the church has traditionally overlook to give them voice. It's not about meeting in our buildings on Sunday mornings, but it's about the ministry we do Monday-Saturday that counts and relaizing that those with special needs also have special giftings to share with us. In the end, we are the ones really being blessed for just accepting people for who they are and as God created us equal, providing that equal opportunity and space for expression. This is definitely needed in the Washington DC Metro Area, as well as every place on the planet, where thei Church calls home.
