Raise your glass and lift your voice at Washington Revels Pub Sing in Silver Spring, Maryland!
We gather for good food, good drink, good company, and, great singing!
If this is your first time at our pub sing, we'll be the ones laughing and singing in the 2nd-floor bar. Food and drinks may be ordered starting at 6 pm. Singing will begin at 7 pm and formally end at 9 pm, with a brief intermission. All songs will be SING-ALONGS, with songbooks and song leaders provided. All ages welcome — there will be a few songs that celebrate the virtue of drink, but not many.
Additionally, we will have a mini-"Burns Supper," honoring the birthday of Scottish poet Robert Burns — a 15-minute version of the traditional celebration, including a few songs, the entrance of the haggis, a bagpiper, and a rousing 'Auld Lang Syne' as written by Burns himself!
Admission may be available at the door, but please purchase tickets in advance online because seating is limited. Tickets for Pub Sing regularly sell out in advance!
Ticket proceeds support Washington Revels; food and beverage may be ordered directly from the McGinty's regular menu at your expense.
Free parking available after 6pm in the Wayne Ave and Fenton St. Garages: http://www.mcgintyspublichouse.com/silverspring/directions/ for directions and parking info.
