Cabin John Regional Park hike

A former member
Post #: 1
Be sure to check out the Locust Grove Nature Center in the CJ Regional Park with its native plant gardens, dormant for winter. Include the Butterfly, Bee and Bird garden off of Democracy Blvd. and the wildlife meadows, one off of Democracy and the other in the Cabin John Stream Valley plus the gardens around the building. The pond north of Tuckerman is full of critters all winter long. I am looking for volunteer gardeners to help me at the Nature Center if you have an interest in native plants and want to learn how they are crucial to our environment.
