Reason for this meetup:

As the world looks for more sustainable energy solutions, one seemingly overlooked area seems to hold the most potential. Ocean wave energy holds almost limitless potential. Since water is nearly 1000 times more dense than air, logic would dictate that what ever energy wind farms are producing today, ocean waves would produce a thousandfold more. I believe that in order to tap into this potential energy source in the USA, that we need to raise awareness in this area.
