Serpent's Skull is a Pathfinder Adventure Path, an ongoing campaign that takes characters from 1st level to approximately 17th level with one continuous story-arc. We attempt to meet once a month on a Sunday afternoon from noon to about 5pm. The total adventure will take several years to complete.
Because of the continuous nature of this campaign, there is a regular group that comes and they have their own characters. Others are encouraged to come as well. There are generally players with characters who were unable to attend as well as various NPC characters within the campaign. You are welcome to play one of these characters. If you would like to become a regular player of this campaign, you could create your own character and work with the GM on how your character can be worked into the campaign story line.
Current campaign status (Caution - Spoilers follow): PCs are 3rd level and are still stranded on an island known as Smuggler's Shiv, a small island within Desperation Bay that is surrounded by deadly rock outcropping and myth that no sane sailor would ever willingly steer near. Here, those that survived the shipwreck have faced severe heat, deadly wildlife, disease, walking dead, and a tribe of hungry cannibals. Several of their party have already responded to death's calling. They follow a passenger for whom they believe was responsible for their ship's untimely fate. And they have discovered an ancient underground temple to the serpent god Ydersius, the Beheaded One! Inside they found cryptic instructions written in ancient Azlant on how to activate something called the Tide Stone, likely the stone pyramid they found earlier and believe lightning originated from several nights ago. But do they dare follow these instructions? Will they live long enough to find a way off this island?
