Pathfinder-Serpent's Skull

Serpent's Skull is a Pathfinder Adventure Path, an ongoing campaign that takes characters from 1st level to approximately 17th level with one continuous story-arc. We attempt to meet once a month on a Sunday afternoon from noon to about 5pm. The total adventure will take several years to complete.

Because of the continuous nature of this campaign, there is a regular group that comes and they have their own characters. Others are encouraged to come as well. There are generally players with characters who were unable to attend as well as various NPC characters within the campaign. You are welcome to play one of these characters. If you would like to become a regular player of this campaign, you could create your own character and work with the GM on how your character can be worked into the campaign story line.

Current campaign status (Caution - Spoilers may follow): Currently, all current characters have just reached Level 4 after surviving for over a month being stranded on a hostile island from being shipwrecked. After removing the island’s curse and getting the lighthouse working, they were finally recused by a passing whaling vessel and have arrived in the city of Eleder in Sargava. They carry information that they discovered on the island that may show how to find the lost ancient Azlanti city of Saventh-Yhi. And in a city like Eleder, word about such a find spreads very quickly.

At this point in the campaign, it is the perfect opportunity to bring in new characters for those that wish to become regulars in the campaign. New characters should be start at Level 4 using 20-point buy with 2 traits and 6000 starting gold. Basic equipment, +1 weapons/armor, 1st and 2nd level potions and scrolls, 1st level wands, and rings and wondrous items 2000 gp or less are available. Everything else is dependent of DM’s rolls for availability. No evil alignments. Your character should have a reason to be in Eleder (in the Golarion Inner Sea Region campaign setting) with a desire/willingness to go on an expedition.

That sounds like a pretty flimsy excuse Dan.

I have updated the possessions list online for those that provided me sell/buy information and new characters. Please review for errors.

I was thinking about how I want to modify the campaign to handle such a large group that could potentially get larger still, but historically only half of the group generally makes it to a session due to work schedules, illnesses, being out-of-town, etc. So instead, here's my plan...

In Book 1, everyone was stranded on an island, fighting for their lives and trying to get off. It was difficult to add or remove characters. But for the next several books of Serpent's Skull, you will likely be part of a much larger group where certain folks (PCs that are present that session) will be going out of scouting missions and such while those that are not present will have stayed back with the larger group, pulled guard duty or what not.

If Buffy and Keith are unable to make it, their characters will just not be with the front group. This should hopefully help control the larger group size as well. Though you won't know what the party make-up will be until game start.

I am bleeding 97 days and battling an infection right now that has wiped me out. I am not strong enough to leave my house yet.

Here is what the party is looking like right now:

    Definitely in:
    Nick: Monk 4
Ian: Monk 3 / Druid 1 (with dinosaur animal companion)
Steve: Ranger 4 (with wolf animal companion)
    Bill: Sorcerer 4
    Casey: Paladin 4
    Mark: TBD

    Possibly in:
    Buffy: Cleric 3 (Level?)
    Keith: Fighter 3 (Level?)

Looks like we are going to have a large party, especially with multiple animal companions.

Buffy, Keith: Please confirm if you are planning on continuing with this campaign. This will likely effect Mark's decision on which class to take.

I have updated the History of Events on the drive share to include last session.

For those that have sent me info on your buying and selling, I have not forgotten you. I have just been busy. I will hopefully get to it soon.

Start Book 2 (of 6) next Sunday.

Hey all, I divided the party loot into gold pieces back on the last session meetup event page. Just thought it'd help for purchases and junk for this month's session
