Pathfinder-Serpent's Skull

Serpent's Skull is a Pathfinder Adventure Path, an ongoing campaign that takes characters from 1st level to approximately 17th level with one continuous story-arc. We attempt to meet once a month on a Sunday afternoon from noon to about 5pm. The total adventure will take several years to complete.

Because of the continuous nature of this campaign, there is a regular group that comes and they have their own characters. Others are encouraged to come as well. There are generally players with characters who were unable to attend as well as various NPC characters within the campaign. You are welcome to play one of these characters. If you would like to become a regular player of this campaign, you could create your own character and work with the GM on how your character can be worked into the campaign story line.

Current campaign status (Caution - Spoilers may follow): Having escaped Smuggler’s Shiv with a notebook containing clues to finding the ancient lost city of Savanth-Yhi, the group gets hired by the Pathfinder Society in Eleder to be the trailblazers of an expedition to find the ruins of Tazion, which should show how to get to Savanth-Yhi. But they are not the only groups racing to find these ruins. Several others, including the Aspis Consortium, have set out with their own expeditions.

After about 15 days of travelling along the edge of the Laughing Jungle and then across an open savanna, which proved fatal for the mighty paladin, the trailblazers have cleared and marked a path for the caravan following behind them that goes all the way to the old trading town of Kalabuto. There they met with a contact for the Pathfinder Society who briefed them on the rest of their journey and offered them shelter for the night. But as they slept, a group of thugs raided the place with poisoned weapons. The raiders quickly got the upper hand, but the party was triumphant in the end. The group began looting the bodies and preparing to interrogate those that escaped death…

The PCs are currently at Level 5.

Well at least no one died this time, although the Ranger and I got close. We found that it's hard, but not impossible, to take down incorporeal creatures. I'm glad we went back to fight the dire ape after all. Thanks to Dan, once again, for an entertaining adventure.

may, at whim, throw you in the direction of hostile creatures including, but not limited to, wolves, dire apes, incorporeal demons, brain sucking dire bears, and blood thirsty cannibals.

Haha, I just want to note: traveling across an open savanna isn't what proved fatal for the paladin ;-) Little known fact: HUGE MAGICAL BEASTS eat paladins. He was just as shocked as I am to have learned this :-)
