Dreams connect insight from the unconscious with the conscious to provide wholeness of the Self. Understanding dreams leads to health, a better understanding of oneself and others, and reality.
Yes, with the Way Out West Dream Group; and have been a member since its inception. My first dream work was during a short course on Intuition, Psychology Dept., SSU.
To learn more about the psychology of myself and others; to better understand the human psyche in general.
I am very interested in cultures (past and present), philosophy, comparative religion, art, mythology, symbols, shamanisim, dreaming, meditation, nature, psychology, music, geography.
Have been interested in dream analysis for a few years. Jeremy Taylor, James Hillman, Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung, Robert Johnson, and presentations by the Depth Psychology Program, Sonoma State University, have influenced my understanding of dreams.
The Way Out West Dream Group is a comfortable and pleasant group of people to explore one's own and other's dreams with. Travis, the group's facilitator, is very knowledgeable and insightful about dreams and how to explore their meaning. I have learned a lot meeting with these wonderful people and find the experience thoroughly enjoyable.
