Punkin' Chuckin'!

The annual Punkin' Chuckin' is back!

A variety of machines participate in the Morton contest: catapults, trebuchets, and some whose category needs to be determined upon their arrival. A hand tossed event is offered for those of us who can’t build a machine. Folks of all ages will find something of interest, like the rib eye steak sandwiches, Pumpkin Chili, Pumpkin Funnel Cakes or Ice Cream. Pumpkin, gourds and fall decorations offer a taste of country fun and excitement to the day. Bring your lawn chairs & join us for this different Fall event. PUNKIN CHUCKIN’ - bringing agriculture and engineering together for the fun of it!

Admission- $5.00 per vehicle

Where will we Chuck ‘Em?

At The Pumpkin Farm, 16339 N. Springfield Rd., located at the corner of Allentown & Springfield Roads, rural Groveland, near Morton IL. Take I-155 to the Broadway exit south of Morton, go about 4 miles to Springfield Rd., turn left and about 1mile you will reach Punkin Chuckin. Just watch for the signs!

Linda and I are volunteering with parking from 10am-12 noon so you will either see us when you arrive and give us $5 or we will look for you all after our shift has ended.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
