Describe your experience with street photography?

I have been shooting people for around two years. I use a small stealth camera (Ricoh GRD3), and get as close as I can. I usually process in B&W. I just love London and it's peoples! This is my photoblog: http://movingsubjects.blogspot.com/p/moving-subjects-slide-show.html

What do you hope to get out of the group?

Living outside London, this group will give me more excuses to get into London and take more shots. I would love to learn from others about technique and experiences. And of course, make some friends and have fun.

Do you have any recommendations for cool areas to shoot street in or nearby London?

I think all the cool areas are known about by now. The markets are always good... Portabello, Greenwich, Camden, Borough, Brick Lane etc etc. I quite like the city of London, combining architecture with people. Another reason to join... learn new places!

Introduction

Hi, my name's Bill and I am an enthusiast photographer with a passion for London. I am starting to ditch my DSLR for my small stealth Ricoh GRD3 for street photography.
