Fairly successful I've only been arrested once in all the years I've strolling around the back Streets with my camera. I miss out on more shots than I take simply because I'm not paying enough attention, the potentual shots seem to creep up on you and sometimes I'm not ready, then of course by that time they've gone. But that's not to much of a problem for me because my camera is a medium format rangefinder so if I can take 10 shots on one of my 4 hour back Street walks I'm more than happy. I must say that I do feel a certain amount of nervousness when out and about but that does not stop me going back to the streets take more photos and add more prints to my portfolio of B+W finished and mounted Photographs.
It would be a pleasant change to meet and walk the Streets with other like minded photographers, and exchange ideas on technique like point and shoot from the hip or ask permission from certain trendy quirky strangers that you like the way they look. At the moment the only advice and criticism's that I get about my finished and mounted B+W photos are from Camera Club Judges and panel members at the RPS. So yes I'm about ready to have a new outlook of the way that my photo's come across to new potentual viewers, and yes I'ts always a pleasure too look at other photographers work just like going to a Photo Gallery.
Rye Lane area.
Retired Bus Driver, only photographic qualification I have is ARPS, swaped my Leica M4 for a medium format rangefinder camera, I'm a member of the Carshalton CC, still use Ilford Films and Chemistry and I have my own Darkroom. Have a large portfolio
