Describe your experience with street photography?

Anywhere and everywhere; favs are Brick Lane, South Bank, West End depending on the time and day. I prefer to be invisible but am happy to engage with subjects, which has produced some of my favourite pictures.

What do you hope to get out of the group?

Sharing ideas and experiences with like-minded people who have a common passion.

Do you have any recommendations for cool areas to shoot street in or nearby London?

Brick Lane, South Bank, Soho, Greenwich, Isle of Dogs/Canary Wharf area, Chinatown, Camden markets, Southwark, Archway, Hampstead, Brighton, Surrey Street market - Croydon.

Spent many years with medium format landscape photography but 10 years ago swapped to candid/urban/street. From windswept, isolated scenes at silly o'clock keeping people out of my shots to close-quarters urban locations putting people into shots.
