Yes, I and all organizers are charged a yearly fee which I pass on to my members but as you'll see in my upcoming newsletter, your $3 YEARLY fee gives you innumerable gains. If it's a problem, you are free to go to parks without this group. My first year, I didn't charge people but now I am. Other organizers have their own fees or choose not to incur all the fees themselves.

A $3 fee is charged because it costs organizers $144 a year to run this site. If I should make a 'profit', I plan to a) throw an end of the year party b)pay for gas/tolls for far away meetups or c) charges incurred at establishments like a zoo or museum.
