In celebration of Constitution Day/Week, the Voices of Liberty, Inc./Marion Ohio Tea Party has teamed up with Citizens for the Constitution to host a public reading of the Constitution of the United States on the front porch of the Harding Home in Marion, Ohio, home of President Warren G. Harding.
President Harding conducted his presidential campaign from the front porch of this house. This little gem of history is only about an hour and 15 minutes north of central Ohio. Tours of the home begin at noon if you're interested. Remember to bring a chair.
If you're interested in learning more about the Harding Home, go towww.hardinghome.org.
Please note that this is not a political event, simply dedicated citizens gathering at a beautiful and historic venue, at a beautiful time of year, to hear the words of one of the greatest documents ever written.
If it is raining hard, the event will be canceled. If it is just sprinkling, the event will proceed. Bring an umbrella just in case. The organizer will post on her site if the event is canceled because of weather. You can click here for updates:http://www.meetup.com/marionohteaparty/events/133021632/
