About We are Change
We are Change is a social justice grass roots movement that tries to effect change by taking peaceful direct action.
The main movement of We are Change is based around dealing with the discrepancies with what the media says the truth about the events of 9/11 and similar events such as 7/7 are and what more detailed research indicates may actually be the truth about these events.
The above is important as of the consequences of these events have driven a world policy of wars around the globe. So if the real story behind these events is not what the media portrays it to be, the wars being fought in our name may no be in our best interests.

More on the local Birmingham We are Change Group
The local group of We are Change is run by Sukh (Peace Warrior)
This group has various members who have different interests. We are hoping to bring people together to discuss which directions they currently wish to pursue and where peoples interests match up, they can cooperate in taking action to make the world a better place.
Currently we have members who are fulfilling the more traditional We are Change role of education about the issues in the world such as 9/11, 7/7, Freeman of the land (i.e. legal implications of control) etc.
Other members are taking the view that waiting for world leaders to be more reasonable about what is going on in the world i.e. wars for peace (and the contradictions that involves) is giving our power away and are trying to take action to setup the kind of society we would like to live in.
The pages section of this Meetup group (see Menu of We are change Group) will be used to document the progress of any ongoing projects that members of the group are taking action on.
We are going to use the Message Boards (under the Discussion menu on the We Are Change Meetup Group) to make available links to information that new members can use to bring themselves up to speed (if they are not already informed). There will also be Messages Boards for action members can take either individually or as a groups in the community (so those of you that cannot get to the meeting will still be able to contribute in whatever way you wish to).
Local Group Policy
This group like the original We are Change group is a group of equals that come together to discuss matters of interest.
Members should decide for themselves how far they which to participate in the activities of the group. If there is something they feel the group is not doing that it should be, then it is up to that member to take action and lead the change they which to see world.
N.B. members should be aware that Sukh is quite open for them to be assistant organisers if they wish to take a more active role in the group, please contact Sukh if you are interested in doing this.
This group agrees with the general We are Change Code of Conduct i.e. we are about constructive positive action rather than being in peoples faces violently or otherwise. So please read the Code of Conduct which can be found here (There is also a copy of Code of Conduct the pages section of this Meetup group).
