    As I recall, for Al Gore at Wilshire Theare, parking was reasonable at the Flynt bldg, corner of Wilshire & La Cienega (1 blk W) I will try to be there around 6:00.

    • “ THERE IS A TIME WHEN GETTING VOCAL, YELLING, BULLHORNING, ETC. IS GOOD, BUT I DON'T THINK THAT WAS THE RIGHT TYPE OF EVENT FOR IT. I NOTICED THAT SOME OF THE PEOPLE IN LINE WERE TURNED OFF BY IT. SOME SEEMED SORT OF SCARED OF US. ONE WOMAN TOLD ME THERE WAS A HOSPITAL DOWN THE STREET AND THAT I SHOULD GO CHECK MYSELF IN. (SHE MUST HAVE BEEN A BILL MAHER FAN) THEY WERE NOT VERY RECEPTIVE TO START WITH. MAYBE WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE SUBTLE. SOME TIMES JUST BEING THERE, WITH THE SIGNS AND FLYERS IS ENOUGH. THE CROWD WAS A LITTLE MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN I EXPECTED. ”
