Mr. Wilson is a former executive committee member of Where's the Math which fought hard to get decent math standards adopted in WA in 2008.  He started tracking the development
of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in the spring of 2009.  As part of the US Coalition for World Class Math he helped review the CCSS Initiative's draft of the math College and Career Readiness Standards.  On behalf of the Coalition, he recruited over 20 reviewers from across the country and coordinated the Coalition's effort to review the March 2010 draft of the math CCSS.
Again, on behalf of the Coalition, he participated in a review of the final standards when they were released in June 2010.

He is the past webmaster for Where's the Math?

He is one of the four founders of Truth in American Education (TAE) which was launched to help provide information and help people across the country in their efforts to the fight the CCSS.  A communication network of people across the country who are researching, sharing information, and helping each other is maintained by this organization.  He is one of the webmasters for TAE as well as the webmaster for Stop Common Core in Washington State.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
