Using Google Analytics: Tips & Tricks

Google Analytics is important for your website and blog. Are you using Analytics to discover what is happening with your site?

• Where are visitors coming from?

• How long are they looking at your information?

• Where are you losing them? How do they enter your site?

• Are they doing what you want them to do? (Goals)

There are so many things to find out that sometimes we just look at the easy things. Google Analytics provides so much information that it seems a bit overwhelming so we just make the same checks.

It's time to delve in a little deeper and retrieve valuable information that will tweak your site for success! Use the tools you have - use Google Analytics as a power user - Let's turn your data into action!

How to do this?

Attend this meetup on May 14th and follow the advice of seasoned Google Analytics presenter - Gabriele Endress-Balhiser of Endress | Analytics LLC -Turning your Data into Action.

More information about presenter Gabi:

Gabi has been working in the Web industry for nearly 20 years – beginning with learning to build her own websites in the mid-1990s. In 2005 she did her first Web Analytics implementation with Omniture SiteCatalyst (now known as Adobe Analytics) at the tech company where she worked, LSI Logic. In 2008 she became an independent web analytics consultant, specializing in both Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics. She has built a small team of analysts who have expertise in all the major analytics platforms in the market, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, IBM Coremetrics and WebTrends. She also hosts a monthly meet-up called Northern Colorado Business and Marketing Metrics (NoCo Biz & Marketing Metrics on Meetup.com).

I am very pleased to have Gabi present to our Web Magic Marketing group on this important topic. If you know of other experts in the area for presentations, please send me an email. See you on May 14! This is our evening presentation starting at 5:30 pm. Thank you Gabi! - Jan
