Join us at Aloft Hotel Bangkok (Sukhumvit soi 11) for the June chapter of WebMob Thailand and meet 2 Bangkok-based Business Angels and the Startups they are investing in.
One way to raise funds for a startup is to contact the VCs (Venture Capitalists), but in Bangkok there isn't a lot and they are very selective on what kind of projects they want to invest in. Another way is to contact Business Angels. The main difference between both is that Angels typically invest their own funds, unlike VCs who manage the pooled money of others in a professionally-managed fund
Moo is famous for being the co-founder of Ookbee and as of now one of Thailand's most successful startups, but Moo and his partners do also invest in other startups.
Moo will share with us his experience of being a Business Angel and will tell us more about his investment ambitions and the kind of startups he is looking for.
Famous for founding and exiting Admax, NewMedia Edge and Ensogo, among others, Paul is now regional CEO at aCommerce, one of the region's largest logistic platforms and co-founder and chairman of Ardent Capital, one of Thailand's most significant VCs. However Paul is also a Business Angel, investing his own money on selected projects.
Come and meet him at WebMob and learn about his objectives in term of investment and the kind of Startups he's been betting on so far.
