Wednesday Night Footie turns Sunday Afternoon Volleyball

Hi all,

it was suggested that we play some volleyball on Sunday and touch up our beach tans.

Who's up for it?

Sadly, the weather forecast includes a bit of light rain (but still 26 degrees). Let's keep an eye on this. I don't mind playing in a bit of rain as long as it's not chucking it down. But we may have to bring some brollies etc. to keep the picnic area dry.

If anyone thinks we should meet earlier / later, please leave your comments below.

I'd love to play guys but Shez, my sister and about 20 female members of my extended family are running the race for life in Hyde park on Sunday. Incurring their wrath by not going and cheering them on is more than my life is worth!

Update: The BBC website doesn't forecast rain anymore, yay! As for having a BBQ, I don't know. Maybe I'm being a bit German about this but I'm not that keen on risking having to pay a fine (£200 I think).

I could make meatballs ... and maybe somebody could make a salad? (Low-carb if Krzysiek is coming ;-P)
Or we could go round to mine and have a barbecue later on. Now I really fancy some bratwurst ...

Sounds like fun! I might not have gone to bed by then after Saturday's festivities lol

Let's meet @ 13.00 @ the car park off Dr Johnson Av. Rain shouldn't be a problem. BBQ formally are not allowed in parks but many people do. Shall we try a luck?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
