This meetup group is for all active, sociable, and open-minded Louisianan female work-from-home execs, housewives/SAHMs, college/grad students, teachers on break, flex-time/self-employed, retired, and those in transition newly in-town or in-between jobs.

We meet primarily during the day on weekdays (sometimes weekends and evenings) for a variety of one-time activities, such as lunches, sightseeing, crafts, fun ways to exercise, volunteering, day trips, self-improvement, and board games. We'll have some "girly" events, like paint-your-own pottery, self-defense class, and learn how to knit and purl.

This meetup group is new, originally started by Stephanie:
"I am a happily married work-from-home female exec in real estate and
non-profit arts, new to Shreveport from NYC by way of Atlanta, excited
about new friends and events. In NYC, organizing events was a way for
me to get people to do some of the silly stuff I love: 40 adults (big
kids at heart) to play Laser Tag, a watergun fight in Central Park,
Yum Yum Sisters at a rifle shooting range, dodgeball high school
reunion,... While in Atlanta for 6 months, I started the 1st Weekday
Women group, which continues to thrive with 100+ women and 60+
events.  In Shreveport and Bossier, I hope to get some girls together
to meet for fun activities during the day on weekdays, about twice a
month."
