Check the meetup calendar for events. Trivia is every 4th Friday and if a host is available, we'll set it up.

The New Orleans Singles and Weekend-A-Go-Go Meet-Up Groups are ostensibly ONE group for purposes of Trivia Night (like I said, unless ya'll want to split into two groups if we have too many people :) We'll see how it goes tonight...

I'll be getting there by 6:15-6:30 and I will put the signs up on the tables in front of the bar on the right as you enter. If we have over 20 people we MAY want to split into two groups, one group per table (although I hope we don't have to do that :) But hey, if everyone agrees to stay as ONE team, I'm all for it. Charles and I can be 'runners' if ya'll want (that is if someone knows 'absolutely beyond a doubt' what an answer is - hold up your hand and we will come get the answer from you - with a whisper in the ear :) NEVER shout out any answers :)

And one more thing - KEEP.............YOUR............CELL...........PHONE..............IN............
    YOUR..............POCKET/PURSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill

What time does the Deutsches Haus open? I think I would like to arrive earlier to eat and greet before the game begins.

The website, deutscheshaus.org, indicates that the Haus opens at 3pm. Food should be available at 6pm. The meetup signs should be on the tables by 6:30. Everyone is welcome to show up before 7pm. Remember, we will sit at the row of tables directly in front of the bar on the right as you enter the large hall.

I'll put the Meet up signs on our table, probably the one in the back on the right closest to the bar, at about 645 to 700.
Due to the expected large turnout, it's possible we may have to split into two teams (hopefully not). I'm playing this time :)

WOW!!! Big group attending. That's so cool. The event is free to attend... and free if you want to participate. It's a TRIVIA GAME where the entire team tries to come up with the answers. Sometimes we do... sometimes we don't. What I love is that folks there are worried that they won't know anything. BUT... THAT... IS... OKAY!!! It seems to me that, whether or not each of us comes up with answers... we all have fun playing. There's usually lots of energy... and lots of laughter. The Deutsches Haus cooks sell great food (like fish tacos, brats... YUM!)... and there's a bar selling all kinds of drinks. (If you're a bear drinker, you will be in heaven.) I think this is a really fun event.

Ummmmm... if you're a BEAR drinker, people with think you're just weird. If you're a BEER drinker, you will be in heaven... laughing at all of the BEAR drinkers.
