RSVPing - Help Us Build A Better Meetup

This is solely my opinion, so take it for what it's worth.

If you RSVP Yes, SHOW UP!

It is better to RSVP Maybe, than to RSVP Yes and No Show. If you're unsure or not a person to follow up on your RSVP to change it from Yes to No, then RSVP Maybe. It gives us an idea that you're interested, but there's a possibility that you can't make it.

Not Showing up when you RSVP Yes is not cool.

If you choose to RSVP No, please tell us why you are declining. If you're not interested in a particular meetup, say so. We don't want to waste your time and ours scheduling events most people aren't interested in.

If you have a prior engagement, say so. That means a lot to us and goes a long way to helping us make the meetup group better.

Whatever the reason, please let us know why you're saying no otherwise refrain from RSVPing No. It benefits no one and discourages participation by other people.

Like I said, this is solely my opinion.
