Trombone Shorty at The Warfield

A former trombonist myself, I'm a bit biased, but New Orleans-based contemporary jazz group Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue are incredible live. I saw them at the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest* several years ago and have been hoping to see another performance ever since.

Tickets to this show are either standing room general admission ($35) or reserved seating ($45) and can be purchased here. Please buy your ticket(s) before you RSVP.

Schedule
7pm: Dinner at Farmer Brown
8:45pm: Walk to The Warfield
9pm: Show starts

We'll get things started with dinner (at a Southern food restaurant, of course!) and then walk to The Warfield.

Thanks for coming out with me on a Friday night! This was a fun group and I enjoyed sampling the tasty food and drinks before heading off to the show. Plus, Trombone Shorty was so good! It was great hanging out with you and I hope to see all of you at another event soon.

Woohoo! Great event! I went having never seen Trombone Shorty in person before and didn't know what to expect. What an awesome surprise! And the restaurant beforehand was superb, although i am disappointed that i didn't try the pecan pie. Oh, well. Next time, definitely...nom, nom, nom!

We're at a long table behind the hostess and to the right.

I'm sitting at the bar wearing a blue and white dress. They won't seat us until at least 5 people from our group are here. See you soon!

I have my ticket to the show already, but might there still be room at the table for some southern food? Some crawfish pie and chit chat sound like a wonderful way to start the evening!

I'm happy to make room at our table and have a call into the restaurant to increase the reservation size. They're closed today, so I'll update your RSVP tomorrow if they can accommodate.
