Day trip: Natural Bridges park first (view monarch butterflies), then drive north to Pescadero beach area (walk beach and explore tidepools), then go to nearby town of Pescadero and purchase steaming loaves of garlic artichoke bread, then either have hot drinks and chat in local coffee shop or explore local 1800's cemetery. Night trip: Stargazing party with San Jose Astronomical Association. Starry Nights Star Party When: Sat, March 22, 8:30pm – 10:30pm Where: Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve, Casa Loma Road, Morgan Hill, CA Description: Would you like to see the band of the Milky Way? You can at Rancho Canada del Oro. Come join us under the dark skies of this site. You will be able to see constellations, asterisms, binary stars, multiple stars, open clusters, globular clusters, planetary nebulae's, galaxies, and so much more. Day Trip: Go deep sea fishing, then have a friendly but competitive BBQ later to experience new gourmet snapper recipes!
35 years old and heading back to school, this old dog is going to learn a few new tricks. Along the way I am looking forward to gobbling up some campfire marshmallows, meeting new folks, and having fun. See you out there!
