Insights gained from 2 memory saving projects with Paul Ashton

Last year I was involved in two memory saving projects. Both involved webapps that were using hundreds of megabytes of heap space for cached business objects (one webapp is written in .Net and the other in Java). Good results were achieved, and in both cases memory use was reduced to well under 50% of its original level. This talk will give a brief overview of the tools used, and then go on to discuss some of the techniques used to save memory.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
