Our first "Wine and Dine" event at Le Marche was a massive success so we've decided to do it again with the fabulous Scott Barrett at Elements Restaurant in Lyall Bay.
We’ve booked a private room just for Wellington Foodies and Scott has come up with a special set menu of contemporary Kiwi cuisine.
Jules from MacVine, our resident Sommelier, has come up with some delicious wine matches to go with Scott’s menu. Leave the car at home!!
Warm bread and butter
Antipasto Selection = non-veggie and veggie: separate plates
Daily fish with smoked mussel & prawn kedgeree, prawn oil and smoked yoghurt
Pork belly with skordalia, fennel coleslaw and crispy sage
Vegetarian tasting plate: roast beetroot w/ smoked yoghurt pannacotta, pecorino puffs, spice fried cauliflower w/ tomato pickle, roasted pumpkin & herb salad w/ coconut dressing (please note: the vegetarian option may change slightly depending on fresh produce available on the day)
Poached rhubarb & strawberry tart with white chocolate mousse
Espresso pannacotta with caramelized walnuts and salted caramel

We’ve managed to put this scrumptious supper together for just $75pp. Price includes a wine match for each course. Numbers for this one are strictly limited so get in quickly.
