I took up cooking in my late 20s when I actually began to cultivate my palate beyond the norm. I love food/beverage matching too. Having lived in Southern Mississippi, I love New Orleans and Creole/Cajun food. I'm addicted to variety, and fresh ingredients are a must.
Hmmm... I make a lot of good things. I dont bake, Im more of a mains kinda guy... Im good at cajun food... good at seafood, quite creative... was vegan for a while, but eat most things now.
"Hands on" is good, also trying new places.
Im Jason :-) I play and teach musical instruments and like to cook nice foods, drink good wine, smoke a nice cigar, enjoy the wonderful view which life brings ever day! Ive been single for almost 2 years, and have my own home in Ngaio.
The wellington foodies are a great group :-)
