I started collecting recipes while on a working holiday in NZ in 2007-2008. I met a lot of people from around the world, and they were better cooks than I was! So, I watched and learned, and wrote down what they did. Starting from there, I have a 500-page typed collection of recipes I've collected over the years. Some I still need to try, some have become favorites, some get axed from the list, some are from childhood, some from food shows and expos and demonstrations. In addition to cooking, I love finding new favorite local foods - from farmstands, restaurants, etc.
