So we did make it, but couldn't remember what people looked like and had to leave early to make bus connections etc, but The Glass Vaults were pretty neat, gave it a real atmospheric end of festival feeling. Liked the 'Children are an orgasm of the world' poetry lady too, and the violinist was uber talented. Nice mix of genres, something a little different :)
Sorry i won't make tonight now. Have been feeling off colour most of the day but was waiting to see if felt better. But not feeling up to going out. Hope it's good and shame to miss it.
Yup the AA's made it official - I've broken my car -expensive sounding steering problem
Sorry my attendance is looking hopeful at best - car is making scary noises
This looks like a cool idea to support! More info in the news today: http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/capital-life/8676525/Artists-to-take-over-old-halls

A place to coordinate gig going with other folks that are interested in checking out the local music scene.
Its not a formal thing, just a spot to announce that you are going to a specific gig and would enjoy sharing that gig with others.
If you are planning on seeing the local noise makers band at your local dive bar then make a new meetup, just set a meeting time and place, and have at it!
Be safe, play nicely, and I'll see you there :)

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
