The final chapter - JMCs final set
To most DNB heads in NZ JMC needs no introduction, during his DJing career JMC secured himself as one of the nations most talented and energetic DJs. In 2007 JMC blew away the competition in the prestigious Rumble In The Jungle Competition, since then JMC did anything but slow down, his skills grew from legendary to downright EPIC. Every set JMC has been devastating dance floors with his swift, tightly mixed style while keeping the energy raw and his sets full spectrum. He has often been noted for his unreserved energy behind the decks and communication with the crowd as he cycles through a selection made to work the audience into a dancefloor frenzy.
JMC has played support to the biggest names in the industry such as Andy C, Spor, Borgore, TC, Commix, Noisia, Skizm, Flux Pavilion, Break, Fierce, State Of Mind, The Upbeats and Concord Dawn. And is widely recoginsed for his "wtf this is insane!" sets at the infamous Illuminate Paint Party tours.
From the beginning to the end it has always been about the music for JMC. This being his final set expect to see and hear that passion for drum and bass from the moment he starts to lights coming on. Passion delivers the greatest performances and this is one element that JMC will always hold true to. If you are not convinced, check out the quotes below from some of the scene's highly respected artists:
"The best support DJ we have seen all tour....he's bangin!"
- SCRATCH PERVERTS, after their 5 month global tour.
"...in fact the most impressive DJ I've heard this year is Wellington's JMC. I knew all but one Sub Focus tune he played at our Aural Trash gig at Sandwiches, but the power and excitement that came from his mixing just blew my mind. It felt like years since I'd had that experience."
- GREG CHURCHILL (Aural trash), Rip It Up Magazine, Oct/Nov 2010
"Easily one of this countrys most exciting Drum'n'Bass exponents; always delivers firing mixes with an incredible energy and diverse selections that ensure you never know whats coming next. NZ's most exciting DJ!"
