Oh my! We had such an awesome day at the Newtown Festival on Sunday! We were the opening act after the Wellington Mayor, Celia Wade-Brown's welcome speech. She was lovely and took a few minutes to take pics with us. Much gratitude to all of you who turned up and made it possible! Fergus the MC said we were one of the best organised group he'd seen on the Community Stage - and with hundreds of groups over the years, that's a big compliment! So a massive thanks to all you wonderful Ukulele Lovers who came! Also a huge thanks to the fabulous organisers who co-ordinated this amazing festival! We had FUN and the audience was very appreciative :) The Office Bar & Cafe invited us to perform in front of their premises for an hour, so we sang our little hearts out again. We had a FUNtastic time 'cos we know how to Uke & Spread the Love :)
