Ukulele Tuesdays: Weekly @ 7pm-8.30pm

Join us tonight @ 7.00pm, The Office Bar & Cafe, 124 Riddiford Street, Newtown, Wellington. Absolute Beginners & all levels welcome. BYO Ukulele & Koha. Spare ukes available.

Come out of the ukulele closet and join the Ukulele Revolution. Relax and strum along with us for a fun ukulele jam session. All songs and chord charts provided - just bring you and uke.

We usually warm up with some 3 chord popular folk/culture songs to encourage our beginners to join in, then we step-up gear as the night ticks on.

We're also dusting off well-loved classic hits and bringing them to life with the Mighty Uke. Leonard Cohen classics like "Dance Me to the End of Love" Johnny Cash "Ring of Fire" Del Shannon "Runaway" Roy Orbison "Blue Bayou" and many more!

Uke & Spread the Love :)

Sorry to miss tonight's session and the bbq on Saturday. Bad cold. Hope to get there next time.

Oooo! Snaiet - hope you make a speedy recovery. I sure hope your bad cold wasn't from the wet windy night at Mac's Function Centre from last Thursday? We had a great BBQ - lots of good food, great vino and FUNtastic uking company. Hope to see you next Tuesday - get well soon :) xx

Yip! 'Twas another great night of uking and singing! Tonight we mostly let lose and jammed our way through the whole evening. What a welcome relief after so many weeks of practising a set programme repertoire for the Teachers' Conference gig last Thursday night. We tried out a few new classic songs "Jolene" "Lucille" "Catch the Wind" "Hallelujah" "Let It Be" "You Raise Me Up" "Nights In White Satin" - a wonderful change of pace and a refreshing breath of air. Our fun friendly Ukers always leave our uke sessions with a smile on their faces and a song in their hearts :)
