Not a 'photo taking' meetup but an interesting exhibition.

World Press Photo is committed to supporting and advancing high standards in photojournalism and documentary photography worldwide.

For over 55 years the World Press Photo contest has encouraged the highest standards in photojournalism. We believe in the power of visual journalism to inspire and shape us.

The annual contest is judged by leading experts in visual journalism who represent various aspects of the profession. All the prize-winning photographs are assembled into an exhibition that travels to 45 countries over the course of a year, as over two million people go to a hundred different venues to see the images.

Open daily from 3 August to 25 August, this highly engaging and confronting exhibition will be open to view in a new location - an empty retail space opposite the Mojo Cafe, on the ground floor of the Telecom Central Building, 42 Willis Street.

Added a date and time to this so it falls off the list of future meetups, since it is now finished.
Hope everyone who went enjoyed it!

Went on Monday; the photos are amazing. Harrowing subject matter in many cases.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
