Title -When Darkness ends. Taken about 6.30 this morning. Settings M 1/500 f4.00 and ISI 800. I am a newbie to photography so would love some feedback.
Lovely photo Bridget!
Was this taken on a tripod? If you did, you could have taken your shutter speed down to something like 1/60 depending on how quick the clouds were moving. If you did this, you could have gotten your ISO down from 800 to 100 maybe, which would have increased your dynamic range and decreased noise.
Artistically, it might have been nice to remove the lower trees from the shot, as these are a little distracting. Also, I think the horizon could have been straightened ever so slightly. But these are only small comments, this photo looks great!
Thanks Dan for the feedback looking forward to putting the comments into practise. Bridget
Very good attempt. I like the silhouettes of the land. Horizon not quite straight - if there is a horizon in the pic it must be level. In two minds about the tree at the bottom - try cropping them out and see what you think - or just leave them.
I really like it, great olours and exposure. Well done.
