Time for a group run again. If you missed the previous runs you can join in for this one. We'll do some easy running along the waterfront. By now you all should have got an email outlining the general plan for the group. If you missed the first & second run here are the details:
Are you looking to aim for a Half Marathon this summer?
Come join the fun & friendly Half Marathon Training Group.
The aim of the group is to be ready for the Wellington Round the Bays half in February 23rd 2014

The group is open for anyone: (even if you are a beginner or just thinking about it)
First timers - if you are looking to complete your first half marathon
Intermediate - for those looking to improve on their first or second half and improve your overall fitness
PB seekers - for those who have run a few half marathons & want to aim for a specific goal time & be 'race ready'
The training format will be outlined once we have enough interest & will include practical advice based on collective experience. We will start with building base fitness & endurance moving onto speed work etc leading up to February 2014.
The idea is that each group will work together but follow different workouts based on individual level of fitness goals etc.
Whilst the idea is to have these sessions at 'no cost' we may use specialists to come & give advice/talks which may have a small fee & this can be shared amongst all of the group if you chose to attend these specific sessions.
The idea is we will all collectively help each other in aiming for our goals.
