Ayurveda - The Doshas and Beyond

Are you sleeping well? Are you getting the most out of the foods you eat? According to Ayurveda, you are what you digest and not just what you eat.

Originating over 5000 years ago India, Ayurvedic medicine is considered the world’s oldest documented systems of medicine. Being holistic, it is more than a system for treating illnesses; it is a way of life and considers true health to be balance of “doshas”; a balance between our environment, body, mind and spirit. Every individual has a unique combination of doshas. In this talk, we will explore doshas, and also discuss key ayurvedic insights beyond the basics.

Join us for this presentation on Ayurveda and learn:

  • How to determine your constitution(doshas) and learn to understand when and how your body is out of balance and how to bring it back into balanced state
  • Tips on simple day-to-day routines that help balance you from within and with your environment
  • Importance of ‘shadrasas’(six tastes)  in your diet.
  • Vikruti - the key to finding your way back to balance

Simply by attending this talk, you will receive a FREE 15-minute Ayurvedic health consultation with Nina to be scheduled at your convenience. To take advantage of this offer, please fill out this body constitution questionnaire and bring it along.
