I made the transition to a primarily raw, plant-based diet in March 2010. Within weeks, I felt better and had more energy than I'd had in years! After 7 weeks of almost 100% raw foods, I lost 18 pounds and the stabbing pain in my shoulder disappeared, along with a host of other ailments. When you feel that good, you don't want to go back to eating "normal" food.
I approach Raw & Living Food as a lifestyle, not a religion. I strive to put the best quality "fuel" in my body, and to make the best choices in each situation. I believe in bio-individuality, and finding your own perfect balance.
