Burke mountain, meet where the new housing ends on Harper Rd, Port Coquitlam.
You will see a black chain link fence and brand new side walk on the left hand side while driving up harper Rd, park where the sidewalk and black fence end... It`s right before the road goes under the tree cover... The street has lighting and will provide a safe place to leave our vehicles. Just look for the WEST COAST banner on the side of my lifted Jeep Cherokee.
Look over the map link to get perspective if you need more info email me or ask in the comment section.
Pace will be intermediate with some walkers up small sections of the steep grade road.
Ride down will be intermediate and Confident beginners with large tree roots in sections. No large mandatory wood work or jumps just small bridges and tiny A frames, Franks does have one small drop that can be ridden off or walked, I will stop and point out this feature for newbies :]
Trails for this ride will vary from Franks, Dog & Hustler and one I just found that`s flowy fun. Might throw in a Slayer run here and there for flavour if the weather and riders are right. No jumps or big drops just flowy for the night rides.
If you ride all of Burnaby Mountain you`ll be able to get by on the trails I`ll be riding for the night rides... Other rides maybe not so much.
Round trip anywhere from 1 to 2 hours depending who shows and what trails we decide but it is usually just over 1 hour a nice time frame for a week night.
Any questions ?
