You are invited to attend the West Valley Witches Imbolc Ritual on Saturday, February 2 at 7:30pm.

Major sabbat rituals focus on manifesting positivity in our lives. We do this by honoring the specific meaning of each major sabbat through magick rituals, crafts, lessons, and guided meditation. Imbolc is a time of purification and clearing out old things from our lives. As the world is beginning to waken from winter’s slumber, it is time for us to shed the past and move forward with hope. This time of quickening occurs at the crossroads of the year.

Positive RSVPs must be received by 24 hours before the ritual in order to ensure that all participants will be provided with the necessary supplies.

There is a $5 cover charge for each ritual. This is to help cover costs of materials, time, & energy. However, no one will be turned away for an inability to pay.

The afternoon before the ritual, a ritual script will be sent to three people who have submitted positive RSVPs. If they consent, these individuals will be taking the energy & duties for the North, East, & West during the ritual. The more often you attend, the more likely you are to be given one of these positions. An individual’s lines to not need be memorized verbatim for the ritual. The scripts are sent ahead of time so the individuals may familiarize themselves with their lines & duties ahead of time, so they can concentrate more on their energy than their script throughout the service.

The location of the ritual will be opened at 7pm. Rituals start promptly at their given start time. At 7:30pm the doors will be locked, and latecomers will not be admitted.

The ritual will be held in a community lounge. I have reserved the lounge for a private event from 7pm to 9pm, and signs will be placed on the doors to the lounge to let other Avalon residents know this.

The lounge has a capacity limit of 15 people (hence the head count and potential wait list). The lounge is very nicely furnished but only has seating for 10 people, so if more than 10 people RSVP I would suggest that some folks bring along chairs or pillows to sit on.

There are several options for parking. If available, you may park in the spots in the front driveway of the complex marked “Future Resident Parking.” If you're lucky enough to sneak into the parking structure, you can park in the "Future Resident Parking" spots just to the left of the entrance, or in any of the "Guest" spots on the 4th floor. You can also park on the street in front of or across the street from the complex, or on Independence Ave. or Variel Ave. There is handicapped parking in the front driveway of the complex.

When you approach the front of the complex, there will be a sign saying the apartment complex name above double doors. To the right of these doors is another door with a big potted plant in front of it leading into a stairwell. There will be a pink sign saying “WVW” on that door and it will be propped open. If the door is not propped open, please call or text me at[masked]-8435. Once you’re inside just follow the pink signs with arrows that say “WVW” to find the lounge.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
