Hike Roxborough State Park in Douglas County on Sunday May 26 at 8 AM. I haven't actually hiked here yet, so if anyone has experience with this park and would like to be a guide, that would be appreciated.
I understand that this is a very scenic place to hike, so I'd like to have a meetup here while the weather isn't too warm.
I plan to hike the Fountain Valley and South Rim trails, which are scenic and relatively easy, but about 6 miles or so.
More details to follow.
The website for this park is here:
The park fee is $7 for the day per vehicle.
Carpooling is recommended as parking may be limited. Meet at Olde Town Arvada Park n Ride at 56th. & Wadsworth at 7 AM (or go straight to Roxborough State Park at 8 AM). I'll be holding a small Colorado flag. The last couple miles of the road to the park is a rather rough dirt road with some "washboard" sections from what I've seen online, so if anyone has a SUV/Subaru for carpooling there, it would be appreciated.

My cell phone number is (720)[masked] if anyone wants to call about the hike.
