"Is Feminism a Dirty Word?" Panel

In honor of Women's History Month, West End Library is  hosting a panel that will discuss what it means to be a feminist in the modern day-- from Beyonce to Sheryl Sandberg. The panelists are: Christina Larocco, a women's studies lecturer at the University of Maryland; Jess McIntosh, the communications manager at Emily's List; and Claudia Williams, a research analyst at the Institute for Women's Policy Research. Refreshments will be provided!

    I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to attend. I'm a new empty-nester who wanted to get out and meet people who love books, but I also finished working on my book, which is now coming out and taking up all my time. I will start coming to book club again once the book hullabaloo calms down a bit.
