Hi, sorry to have to pull out at such late notice. I have a gastric upset so not well enough to walk today. Shame as the weather looks good and I would have loved to explore the area. Hope to be able to join a walk in the near future.

The walk will take in more road than originally planned / indicated because of the weather & more rain forecast the day before. Approx half this walk will now be done on road rather than river tow path.

Ok, completely understand, shame as Purdy doesn't chase sheep at all, & if need be would be kept on a lead. I would like to do the walk but will have to see if another friend could walk her for me, otherwise I shall have to miss this one as my weekends are times of walking the dog as well. Hope you understand

    Hopefully will see you though

I love the sound of this one.... and want to come. I am going to be participating in a dance workshop on Saturday for about 5 hours so I am not sure if I will be hospitalised by Sunday morning :( .... BUT... if I feel I can make it... can I still come if I can make it there?
I will be up early anyway on Sunday so if I can come I will just turn up... if not I will add a message here as early as possible. :)
    Would that be ok?

That should read "...we don't allow..." Sorry,

    Hi Izzy
Thanks for your message and interest.
As a general rule, we do don't allow dogs and on this walk, we walk through some farmland where I know there are sheep & other livestock. I realise this was not the answer you were hoping for, but we are a walking group, first and foremost. Sorry I can't give a more positive message for this one. Hope to see you on Sunday or another walk soon.
    Cheers
    Jon

Sorry but have had to cancel the Wateringbury walk next weekend. Just realised I'd double booked myself, as I'm going to a pre-arranged talk in London that day. Hope very much to go on another walk very soon though.

Hi all, I've booked onto this (my first) walk with the group next week, but am now wondering whether I should've booked onto a shorter walk. Not sure if I am able to manage 9-10 miles? I do like walking, but don't think I've ever walked for 9 miles in one go. Oh dear, what to do?
