Plan to come tomorrow again with my daughter. Need to borrow a kayak again, if possible. Practice paddling stroke, flipping and preliminary for rolling.

OK. I'll bring an extra boat again
Great day with everyone that had patience with helping out novice paddlers. Thank you for bringing a kayak for practice and helping us try some techniques.

This will be my first practice and I hope to join the paddles frequently this summer. I purchased a rec. kayak last summer and went a few times a month from June through August. I would need some assistance.

Rhonda - please read the posting for the Dec 14 pool practice. It has more complete information.
Yes, I did. The posting said to let you know in advanced for people that wanted some instruction/time with you.
Okay I'll plan on that.
Hi...Roger..I am bringing my daughter along and we will not have kayaks. Kind of difficult to get them at the moment. Will that work ok?

Probably. But a lot depends on what you are expecting to do. It would be best if you called me so we could have a conversation.
Ok...will do. My daughter is 28, so not little.
Hi Roger I will attend practice on sat and am wondering if you would have time to teach me bacics of rolling. I have a dagger max rpm and all of the gear?

Ok. We'll plan on it. That boat is good to learn rolling in. As long as you have a neoprene skirt that fits it properly we will be good to go
Please make sure to read the December 14th post so that you understand how the pool sessions work
Downhill skiing on this date, but I'll be at the pool practices on Feb. 8 and 15 to work on my roll. I deeply appreciate your commitment to helping us rookies learn.
The West Michigan Kayaking Club was founded by Brian Burke in April, 2010 to bring together friends and fellow kayakers to enjoy and explore Michigan's beautiful rivers.
There are no dues and no fees to join us.
We are an exciting and dynamic group of individuals who have common interests. We welcome experienced kayakers, as well as beginners with the goal in mind to help you become a better paddler.
We are very safety conscious. Our member base is very experienced. We make every attempt to make your paddling experience one you will remember for a lifetime.
We have an excellent leadership team, who work hard behind the scenes to provide a blend of paddling opportunities that spans the realm of kayaking from the Great Lakes to the fast creeks.
Please join us if you love the idea of discovering Earth's natural beauty in settings you'll never forget.
